Mais dans son \u00e9poque, avant que la science ne prenne la place qu&rsquo;elle a aujourd&rsquo;hui, la m\u00e9decine \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s limit\u00e9e et les m\u00e9decins passaient, eux, pour des gu\u00e9risseurs parfois sans scrupules (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">1<\/span>). Pour J\u00e9sus, soigner le corps, l&rsquo;\u00e2me et l&rsquo;esprit va ensemble. D&rsquo;ailleurs il dit aussi bien \u00e0 ceux qu&rsquo;il gu\u00e9rit : \u00ab\u00a0Ta foi t&rsquo;a gu\u00e9rie\u00a0\u00bb (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">2<\/span>) ou \u00ab\u00a0Ta foi t&rsquo;a sauv\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">3<\/span>). <\/p><p>Le salut de la fin des temps et la sant\u00e9 du temps pr\u00e9sent sont presque, pour lui, une seule et m\u00eame dimension. A certains moments il \u00e9tait entour\u00e9 de malades, il leur parlait, posait les mains sur eux, et parfois certains, ou m\u00eame tous \u00e9taient gu\u00e9ris (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">4<\/span>). Parfois il a d\u00fb s&rsquo;y reprendre \u00e0 deux fois, comme dans la gu\u00e9rison d&rsquo;un aveugle (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">5<\/span>). Et beaucoup lui appliquaient cette parole proph\u00e9tique venue des Ecritures juives : \u00ab\u00a0Il a pris nos infirmit\u00e9s, et il s&rsquo;est charg\u00e9 de nos maladies.\u00a0\u00bb (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">6<\/span>)<\/p><p>Il s&rsquo;est d&rsquo;ailleurs lui-m\u00eame compar\u00e9 \u00e0 un m\u00e9decin en disant \u00e0 ceux qui le suivaient : \u00ab\u00a0Ce ne sont pas ceux qui se portent bien qui ont besoin de m\u00e9decin, mais les malades. Je ne suis pas venu appeler des justes, mais des p\u00e9cheurs.\u00a0\u00bb (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">7<\/span>)<\/p><p>J\u00e9sus a beaucoup plus \u00e9cout\u00e9 que parl\u00e9 (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">8<\/span>), m\u00eame si ses paroles ont \u00e9t\u00e9 retenues plus que ses silences. Son regard \u00e9tait bienveillant (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">9<\/span>) et il essayait de regarder plus loin que ce qui se manifeste dans la personnalit\u00e9 de quelqu&rsquo;un (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">10<\/span>).<\/span><\/p><p>J\u00e9sus r\u00e9pondait souvent aux questions des gens par d&rsquo;autres questions. Parce qu&rsquo;il lui importait que chacun advienne \u00e0 la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 par lui-m\u00eame (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">11<\/span>). Parce qu&rsquo;il connaissait la r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 ces questions : \u00ab\u00a0Pourquoi avez-vous peur ? (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">12<\/span>) \u00ab\u00a0, \u00ab\u00a0Pourquoi avez-vous des mauvaises pens\u00e9es dans vos coeurs ? (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">13<\/span>)\u00a0\u00bb.<\/span><\/p><p>Il poussait cette discipline tr\u00e8s loin, comme quand il demandait par exemple \u00e0 un aveugle ce qu&rsquo;il voulait qu&rsquo;il fasse pour lui\u2026 sans blague (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">14<\/span>) ! Faire na\u00eetre une parole de v\u00e9rit\u00e9 dans la vie des gens, voil\u00e0 son objectif (<span style=\"color: #b41039\">15<\/span>).
